Next Gen Retreat is an opportunity to go away with the young christians in our church to have a weekend together to train, worship, grow, and fellowship. The goal of Next Gen Retreat is to equip our young people to be better able to serve Jesus by serving his church.
This weekend is for all Youth leaders, Kids Arvo leaders, Toasties leaders, and Kids Church leaders. You are also welcome to come along if you aren't currently serving in our church, but you would like to consider it.
This year we have invited Kit Barker to come and run 4 workshops for us over the weekend. Kit is the father of Corben, Darcie, and Gilbert. The husband of Robyn. He has a PhD in theology and is a volunteer in the leadership of our church (Elder and Chairperson). His hobbies include almost everything under the sun. haha
On top of the sessions Kit is running, Daniel will host 2 sessions. And the rest of the time will be spent having fun, eating, sitting around the fire, fishing off the pier, worshipping, and going deeper in relationship with each other.
