Current Study:

Exodus

“The Exodus becomes the primary symbol of human failure, our need for God’s salvation, and God’s faithfulness to his promises. It forms the backdrop to the story of all God’s people, as well as our own.”

Written by Travis Mundy, this nine week study accompanies our Exodus sermon series.

Rebuilding

10 WEEK STUDY THROUGH NEHEMIAH

“Nehemiah is a book about rebuilding. It’s about trying to reshape and understand your life coming out of an intense period of loss, despair and disorientation. It’s a book about new beginnings. It’s a book about false starts. It’s a book that ultimately points us to Jesus and to his kingdom.”

Written by Travis, this study accompanied our ‘Rebuilding’ sermon series.

Engaging Together

PHILIPPIANS BIBLE STUDY

Philippians is a short but powerful and encouraging letter that Paul writes while imprisoned in Rome in approximately 62AD.

This study takes us through Philippians to show us how we can experience joy and unity, especially during difficult times.

The Why & How of Prayer

Prayer has been said to be a universal human experience. All religions pray, and even atheists pray in a crisis. So, in considering prayer, we are considering something that matters to all people. What is prayer? What is the purpose of prayer? How are we meant to pray?

This study explores these questions which are at the heart of what it means to have faith in God.

Next: Reconstructing the Church

Are we being called to stop, reflect, pray and see what God is doing NEXT? Maybe God’s Spirit is up to something new and better. What would happen if we asked God to build us anew – not the same as we were, but more focused on Him, with something to say and create that is more amazing than before?

This study helps us to discern and dream where God wants us to go NEXT.

Grace & Truth

This mini-series seeks to apply these principles of grace and truth to our discipleship and our public discourse.

At NBC we believe it is essential to our fellowship and our public witness that we get these things right.

The Book of Luke

Starting at Luke 9, this study will follow along the journey of Jesus heading to the cross. As we read Jesus’ words we are meant to ask how it applies to us, today.

Gospel Fluency

This guide is targeted training, derived from experts to help us understand God’s love for the whole world and His desire to use ALL Christians to share the good news of Jesus.

Missions Focus 2020

When Jesus defeated the empires of sin and death, His kingdom toppling did not end there. He commissioned us to continue the work that God intended for humanity: to be fruitful and spread the message of God's love to the ends of the earth.
